The Hotel Millennium comprises two connected villas, with 83 rooms, 8 suites and 3 residential suites. The old, romantic villa contains luxurious rooms and suites decorated in the imperio style, Biedermier and Louis XV, while the new, millennium villa is sumptuously decorated in a modern way. All the luxuriously and stylishly decorated rooms offer a sea view, and are equipped with air conditioning, satellite and pay-TV, minibar, safe, hair dryer, desk, telephone, modem outlet (analog and ISDN), as well as Internet access.
Following the international healthcare trend, smoking is prohibited in the hotel, except for certain designated areas and rooms (hence the distinction between rooms for smokers, and for non-smokers).
Apart from the basic hotel services, guests are also welcome to use a score of other facilities which include a business centre, a garage with video-surveilled guarded parking, a boutique, a jeweller's, a perfumery, a travel agency, car rental, and a gallery.
The business centre is intended for guests who must effectively conduct business regardless of where they might be. The Restaurant Argonauti is a stylishly decorated restaurant consisting of two halls with approximately one hundred seats. There are about 60 more seats on the arched terrace with a breathtaking view of the Kvarner Bay and Opatija. National cuisine dominates the menu, especially fish and other sea dishes, and we are particularly committed to freshly-prepared seasonal and local specialities. The menu is completed with an extensive selection of wines - guests can choose between 80 different kinds of both Croatian and imported wine. Furthermore, the restaurant specifically prides itself on the rich warm/cold breakfast buffet which is served from 06:00 until 11:30, and which is available to non-guests as well.
The Cafe Wagner (named after the Austrian composer Richard Wagner) is located on the very intersection of the main Opatija's promenade and the renowned coastal path Lungomare. In front of the cafe, there are beautiful terreces embellished by greenery and flowers, and which contain approximately 200 seats. The terraces prove suitable for meeting both a business partner and a special someone. The cafe is proud to offer a wide selection of cakes and ice cream (made in our own pastry shop) on daily basis.
The lobby bar, located between the reception and the restaurant, is also keeping up with the high quality pace. There you can drink a refreshing aperitif and a skillfully prepared cocktail; relax and enjoy in the beautiful view of the park in front of the hotel, the Madonina statue on the sea and the blue Kvarner.
The hotel offers a number of recreational activities, either within the hotel itself of nearby: in the hotel, guests are welcome to enjoy the indoor/outdoor swimming pool with underwater massage, whirlpool, a sunbathing terrace, a Finnish steam bath, tanning beds, fitness and massage.
Opatija's main beach, the famous Slatina, is located right by the hotel. Furthermore, close to the hotel are tennis courts, a multifunctional gym and a marina. The tennis courts and the marina are 800 m away from the hotel, and the gym only 500 m.
